We produce our pellets using organic waste and by-products. In simple terms, we product PHA from BIO.
There are several types of PHA and our chosen polymer is PHBV which is then compounded with additives to achieve desired properties.
The biodegradability of our products depends on the various factors such as its application, thickness, environment etc. It can take anywhere from 3 months to 3 years to completely biodegrade.
In order for the biodegradation process to start the product needs to get disposed off in landfill or water where there is a presence of microbes.
Currently we are not licensing out our technology but in future we do have plans to do so.
